dedicated to consistently providing high quality sound
and great songs to their continuously growing fan
(Friend) base. Project DNA is a trendsetter that always
maintains a great show atmosphere enjoyable to all.

innovative ideas to service millions arround the world.

that inspire, promote good intentions, and lift the mind,
body, and soul. Project DNA has the recipe to fulfill the
music lovers’ appetite for good music, lyrics, and feeling.
Project DNA has brought together established
songwriters and musicians who have made an intense
collaborated effort in making project, Project DNA, that
every person will want to experience and support.
Bandleader, Shawn Williams, a.k.a. Shakim, has
worked in the recording industry as a songwriter and
producer over 9 yrs. Shakim has created a unique
sound that experienced and loved by millions. The latest
artist he has created with is Universal recording artist,
Akon. Shakim, along with Akon, has the featured song of
the new Disney feature film, "The Shaggy Dog," starring
Tim Allen. The Shaggy Dog was released in March,
2006. Shakim has procured a team of successful
musicians and writers, and combined their numerous
talents to create an innovative new sound and show that
will excite and stimulate the senses.
Project DNA has also energized a devoted fan base
throughout the South and West Coast regions United
States. Shakim's select cast of talent has what it takes
to make these messages extremely successful. We
expect our growing reputation to lead to new
Fans/Friends.
The Band Description
In June, 2001 Shakim, a 5 times platinum (5 million
records sold) producer, who has worked with Akon, Kelly
Price, and 112, just to name a few, assembled a
“state-of-the-art” band and created a unique musical
style and sound. Shakim is the producer of Project DNA
and the lead singer. He was classically trained in 4
languages which allows him the ability to better express
the misson of Project DNA to many different audiences.
Project DNA was located in Atlanta, GA but has since
started a new path in the Los Angeles-area, performing
and electrifying crowds wherever they go.
The core individuals who are involved in Project DNA
are; Tony Love, multi-platinum (18 million records sold)
writer and guitar specialist; Tony has played on over 20
albums and toured with Akon, LL.Cool J, N-SYNC, Keith
Sweat, Young Jeezy, J.C. Chazez of N-SYNC, and T.
Pain.
Lil’ John, is one of the most prolific percussionist that
has ever come out of Atlanta, Geogia. Lil’ John has
toured with
Janet Jackson, Outcast, Monica, Usher,
N-SYNC,
Erykah Badu, Escape,
Mary J. Blige, and many
more. These musicians and artists are the core of what
makes up Project DNA.
Project DNA is currently in it's growth stage and expects
to move rapidly towards it's sphere of influence and
expression. When you imagine Project DNA, imagine the
influences of Rick James, Earth Wind & Fire, The Dave
Mathew's Band, and Terrance Trent Darby wrapped up in
one.
