Naturally 7
Naturally
7 is a this astonishing, talented, funky, amazing male singing group that specializes in ‘Vocal Play’. Vocal Play is
when each member uses their voice in unison to recreate a different
musical instrument, from drums to brass instruments and guitars. The
group members consist of Roger Thomas (musical director, arranger,
1st Baritone,
Rap), Warren Thomas (percussion, guitar, clarinet, and 3rd
tenor), Rod Eldridge (1st
tenor, scratching, trumpet), Napoleon “Polo” Cummings (4th
Tenor, guitar), Dwight Stewart (2nd
baritone, vocals, and trumpet), Garfield Buckley (2nd
Tenor, Harmonica) and Armand “Hops” Hutton (Bass), all this
uniqueness mergers into the sound of Naturally 7. The group was
started by Roger Thomas and his brother Warren in New York City in
1999. Five other talented singers were added to the group over the
years, while they were singing around the city. In the fall of 2007
they had success over in Europe and were forced onto the world with
their extraordinary talent. Naturally 7 have recorded a number of
albums over the years and with every album, just kept getting more
amazing. Naturally 7’s debut album “Non Fiction” was recorded
in 2000, “What Is It” (2003), “Christmas …It’s A Love
Story” (2004), “Ready II Fly” (2006), ‘Wall Of Sound’
(2009) and “Vocal Play” (2010). I don’t see why it took so
long for this group to get recognized for their phenomenal talent.
Naturally 7 have a lot of fans over in Europe. It baffles me that I
have never heard of them, since they originated in New York. I must
say it is hard to pick a favorite song of Naturally 7 but I think I
like Feel It (In the Air Tonight)”, “Broken Wings”, “768”,
“RESCUE - God's Eyes” and “Blessed Assurance”. Naturally 7
have a new album is due to be released in the winter of 2012 called,
“All Natural Live”. Naturally 7 will be touring worldwide in 2012
and 2013. I know we are going to be hearing a lot from these 7
talented brothers, who truly have a gift from God! If you have never
heard of Naturally 7 you can hear them on Streetwise Radio. Listen to
Streetwise Radio on MyGen365, ITunes, Live365 and Athena365.

KJ McNeil “I’m Music”
KJ McNeil is the son of
Karl McNeil who is a Jazz and R&B musician who has toured and
recorded with some great artist like, Regina Belle, Bobby Womack,
Miles Jaye, Phil Perry, Donald Byrd, Teddy Pendergrass, Lou Rawls and
Gerald LeVert. KJ McNeil was a child prodigy. His father Karl McNeil
detected KJ’s keen ear and the ability to pick up music at the
tender age of 10 months. At the age of two KJ was entertaining other
musicians, by sitting in and jamming with them on his drums. That is
when other musician took notice of his growing talent. When he was 9
years old he became a professional musician. He subbed for another
drummer during one of his father’s gigs. KJ has also been a
professional jazz drummer since the age of 12 and has played with
many great jazz musicians and recording artists including his father
Karl McNeill Sr. KJ was selected to attend the Governor's School of
the Arts program in Delaware at the age of 15. While he was going to
school he continued to perform with the best jazz and R&B
recording artists and increasing his skill level. KJ McNeil is a
musician, vocalist, composer, and producer. KJ has two singles out
called "Where U Start" and "The Sense of Leave”
these songs are on the “I’m Music” album, soon to be released.
KJ is one talented artist he wrote, produced, provided all vocals and
recorded all live instrumentation on all of his songs. I’m looking
forward to hearing his entire album. If there are other songs like
"Where U Start" and "The Sense of Leave” on the
album, KJ McNeil’s album is going on my playlist. I think this
brother is a talent and a well-rounded musician that can sing. I hope
we will be hearing from KJ McNeil for years to come.

FEDE4REAL NOW ON THE STREETWISE RADIO ULTRA MIX
Biography
FEDE4REAL
Fede4real (born Federico Manuel Nomo Fernandez December 3 1981) is a singer, keyboardist songwriter, producer, performer, filmmaker, actor and fashion model. The first thing that comes to your mind when you listen to Fede4real is talent but there is a story behind that talent. It’s a story that begins in Equatorial Guinea (Africa). Raised with his mother (Spanish) and his father (Equatorial Guinea) at early age Fede learned to play piano with his father, a great jazz guitar player. He played blues and jazz as kid while being influenced by African percussions just for the love of it without knowing what the future hold for him. When he was 12 years old his family moved from Africa to Spain. Fede then took classic piano and singing lessons and singing at church shaped his high tone voice. When he turned 18 years old Fede got into modelling. Soon he was selected for cast in major TV commercials, top fashion editorials and top fashion shows. Fede has worked in commercials and printing ads all around Europe, has shot commercials in Europe and U.S, and grace top fashion magazines like Maxim, Vanity and Marie Claire. Fede also walked the Madrid Fashion Week shows many times, the biggest fashion date in Spain and has worked as sport and fitness model and hosted many awards. Fede joined a boy band named 6L1 in 2003. The group was conceived NSYNC alike. Fede took the lead in the group teaching singing and being the lead singer. He started to write his own songs for the group in 2003 but lack of work from some members made the project fail. He then did hide for years, improving his singing and production while writing songs. After working in his first demo, Fede decided to go straight for his debut album REBIRTH 03.12.06. Fede4real wrote and produced the album. Fede directed and produced 2 music videos for REBIRTH 03.12.06. It included R&B pop beautiful ballads and mid-tempo tunes but somehow he was not satisfied with the sound and cancelled promotion. It was after this album that Fede describes as a “learning experience” that he defined his trademark sound. Moving closer to the roots of black music FUNK TEMPLE is an album with beautiful compositions and arrangements. He played keyboards guitar and drums and overall wrote produced the album. At first the album was conceived as a funky album with a fresh urban sound with the aim of rediscover the genre to the youngest generations. Surprisingly Funk Temple ended being a tribute to all the great black music from XX century. Twelve songs that cover most Fede4real influences: Jazz, blues, Funk, gospel, R&B and hip-hop. Fede has presented his album live in NYC at The Sugar Bar venue hosted by the legendary Motown songwriters Ashford and Simpson, 40C bar and other small intimate venues in NYC. Funk Temple did hit radio stations worldwide from Netherlands to NY with great feedback from the jazz neo-soul and R&B field. The opening track “Ebony Seduction” got great airplay in the UK and was included in the best of the year selection of Dazzling Soul independent blog. Fede has also shot and directed a music video for his funky hit “Maybe” in NYC that includes special effects. The video is currently finalist at a national music video contest in Canal Cuatro Spain. Last year he released another video for the soulful bluesy ballad “Since you’ve been gone”. A music video for the inspirational contemporary gospel song “Dreams” is in the making. Funk Temple is still available online at i-tunes and amazon store online. It’s also available from www.fede4real.com . Fede started composing for his third project During the Funk Temple tour in August. He has recently finish the album called JAZZYLICOUS and will be released in November 1st 2010 an album with a heavier jazz influence than its predecessor. An album that will strengthen his position as one of the singers songwriters to watch the coming years. His best work to date an intimate album that includes jazz soul funky and fusion sounds with Fede4real trademark sound.

Dru Hill
Now Playing on the ULTRA MIX
The singing group 'Dru Hill' rose quickly to fame in the mid-1990's, offering a smooth blend of R&B, soul, and gospel music.
The singing group 'Dru Hill' rose quickly to fame in the mid-1990's, offering a smooth blend of R&B, soul, and gospel music.
Best known for their #1 R an B hit singles "In My Bed", "Never Make a Promise", and "How Deep is Your Love", this four-man ensemble from Baltimore, Maryland, went on to record seven Top-40 hits and two smash hit LP's by the end of 1999.
Dru Hill's musical style is sort of a cross between the smooth, gentleman-like 'Boyz II Men', and the self-proclaimed "bad boys of R&B", 'Jodeci'...a band who's often criticized Dru Hill for allegedly imitating their on-stage style!
In reality, Dru Hill's two major influences were 'Stevie Wonder' and 'The New Edition', however, their best songs were writtin by either themselves or by producers 'Daryl Simmons', 'Keith Sweat', and 'Babyface'.
The early years were very interesting. Prior to becoming Dru Hill, they were all middle school buddies pursuing music careers, when, finally, 'Tamir "Nokio" Ruffin' founded the band....which included lead singer 'Mark "Sisqo" Andrews', 'Larry "Jazz" Anthony', and 'James "Woody Rock" Green'.
Their first gig was actually at a local fudge factory, where they not only made fudge together, but would sing and perform to entertain guests as well! (Still a tradition at "The Fudgery" in Baltimore)
The group got its name from a popular hang out called 'Druid Hill Park', where they sang gospel songs as kids!
They finally got their big break in 1996, when manager 'Haqq Islam' arranged for them to sign with 'Island Records', which led to the debut album self-titled "Dru Hill"...an eventual gold seller!
The album's first single "Tell Me" was featured on the sound track of 'Whoopi Goldberg's' film "Eddie", and was a 'Top-5 R&B' hit in the United States.
In 1998, thier second album 'Enter the Dru' featured single "How Deep Is Your Love", also a 'Top-5" hit, and featured on the soundtrack of the 'Jackie Chan' and 'Chris Tucker' film "Rush Hour".
Meanwhile, all four members took turns singing lead, with 'Mark "Sisqo" Andrews' making the biggest impression.
After the band split up just before 2000, it was 'Sisqo' who unleashed his smash album "Unleash the Dragon", who's single "Thong Song" established Sisqo as a household name outside of Dru Hill.
In 2002, the group reunited under the 'Def Soul Records' label, and added a fifth member, 'Rufus "Scola" Waller'.
Dru Hill's third hit album called "Dru World Order" was released in November of that year, and over the next few years, they would enjoy equal success touring with fellow R&B acts 'Toni Toni Toni', 'Bell Biv Devoe', and 'Keith Sweat'.
Just a few weeks ago, on July 27th, 2010, Dru Hill released their fourth album "InDRUpendence Day", along with three new singles.
Last Saturday, August 14th, they made that album's debut, performing at New Yorkk's 'Paradise Theater'.
Dru Hill also has a new T.V. show called "Keith Sweat's Platinum House", which first aired June 28th, 2010 on 'Centric' (cable), and, it appears Dru Hill....is still--a band on the rise!
Thanks, and check out Dru Hill on "Soul City" every night at 6pm on 'Streetwise Radio'.
Keep listening, PeteCam4

'Streetwise Radio' the wave of the future!
Of the 168-million Americans who use wireless-access technology, 60-million of them log on to internet radio at least once a week, and listener ship could reach as high as 80-million by 2011. Together, with countless millions listening around the world, it's no wonder that internet radio has become the wave of the future!
I personally took that wave from a rather uncommon beach called "Streetwise". What I mean is, I drive for a courier company called 'Streetwise Special Delivery' in Gilroy, California....where we deliver the goods by car, truck, boat, train, jet, and--internet radio!
Owner/CEO Michael Ealey launched 'Streetwise Radio' via 'Live365.com' in June, 2009, and, it's become an enormous marketing tool on our website www.Streetwisesd.com.
Ealey has tailored Streetwise Radio from his own professional career as a program director and disc jockey, adding a vast computer knowledge to scour the internet for an exquisite, unmatched play list of songs that comfortably suit, not only American audiences, but, 27 other countries listening around the world.
In less than a year, Streetwise Radio has achieved a number-one ranking, besting more than 6-thousand internet radio sites in the R&B and Jazz music catagories.....and, I've had the pleasure of being part of it all! This past January Streetwise Radio was launched
on iTunes.
All that, PLUS music...24/7, from four music styles: R&B and Soul, Jazz, Reggae, and Hip Hop. Within that are four, very special, hour-long shows called "BIG HOP",which is hosted by super-producer and D.J. NardX, "BIG SPLIFS 4:20 REGGAE"hosted by Reggae singer RAS D. And "JAZZ CAFE"& STREETWISE ULTRA MIX, both hosted by Ealey. "SOUL CITY", is hosted by...me!
That's right. I get to be a DJ, dishing it out vocally, with virtually the entire planet as potential listeners! Two things have made this new-found role easier for me--a former TV sportscasting career (long ago!), and the guidance of my boss Michael Ealey....who's smooth, crooning voice can easily be heard throughout the air waves of Streetwise broadcasts.
He's also taught me more than I "thought" I ever knew about music, and more importantly, about the endless supply of songs, potential stars, and opportunities out there--being offered by internet radio....that's not available on AM/FM, or even satellite radio!
For instance, on Streetwise we not only play the classics from the past, and the hits of today...but also the music rarely, if ever played before...that we offer now! There is so much music, and so much un-discovered talent out there that may never have had a chance to be heard...UNTIL NOW!
WE play it on Streetwise Radio...and, if you're out there with material you believe in,you can send it to us! Streetwise will surely listen, and play it...if it's playable. You can contact us on the website anytime, while commenting and rating our music, shows, articles, content, and even the hosts!
I invite you to get involved with, and, enjoy internet radio...especially Streetwise Radio. It's a blast, from the past...and into the future of world-wide radio. After all, you can now get us online, and with other WiFi enabled devices such as mobile phones, video game consoles, mp3 players, IPhones & IPads, Blackberry and Smart phones....and very soon--WIMAX in car set-ups that will surely become standard equipment.
The way things are going now, I'm sure Streetwise Radio will help expand Streetwise Delivery, but, just how far can it expand itself? For almost one solid, fast-playing year, Streetwise Radio has been gathering listeners....with more tuning in each and every day! Who knows....just how far that may "deliver" us!
Thanks so much, and be sure to tune to Streetwise Radio at www.Streetwisesd.com
Most Sincerely, PeteCam4
